New dual place names

The New Zealand Geographic Board has announced several new dual geographic names for features in the Nelson and Marlborough regions as a result of Waitangi Settlements. Dual naming recognises the equal and special significance of both the original Maori and non-Maori names within the local community and means that either of the names may be used as the official name.
The new names have taken effect from 1 August 2014.
Some names include:

Pourangahau / Mount Robert     Maniniaro / Angelus Peak          Rotomaninitua / Lake Angelus

Poukirikiri / Travers Saddle       Rotomairewhenua / Blue Lake   Rotopohueroa / Lake Constance           

Wharepapa / Arthur Range        Pukeone / Mount Campbell        Mangakura / Red Hill               

Te Hoiere / Pelorus River
